Hi Paul,
Just wanted to let you know that we had a fabulous time on the boat last night. John was an awesome host, the weather held up nicely and the cruise was a lot of fun.
Thanks

Find out for yourself why some of Australia's best chefs love Noosa and our restaurants, returning year after year to the Noosa Food and Wine Festival and naming some of our best as among their favourites in a recent feature in Australian Traveller magazine. Thomas Corner Eatery in Noosaville, Spirit House at Yandina and berardo's bistro on the beach, Noosa Heads were singled out, while the Sunshine Coast was named as Queensland's top gourmet region.
Noosa Spanner Crabs recently received top recognition at the delicious magazine national produce awards, being inducted into the awards Hall of Fame. This year's awards were judged by chefs and Noosa Food and Wine favourites including Matt Moran, Phillip Johnson, Cheong Liew and Maggie Beer.
The Noosa Ferry Cruise Company can access many of your favourite waterfront dining establishments.

Hi Paul
We would like to thank you and your staff for your generosity and hospitality during our excursion on your Noosa Ferry. "Captain Johnno" went above and beyond the "call of duty" to make us all feel safe, welcome and "special", aboard the ferry. He did a fantastic job in assisting us with boarding and disembarking, especially with those students who were in wheelchairs. This was a wonderful experience which will always be remembered by students, staff and carers who attended.
THANKYOU again
Kind Regards

Message from Tourism Noosa
|
Along with our tourism colleagues and members of the Noosa community, Tourism Noosa is sending its sincere best wishes and thoughts to all those affected by the Queensland floods that have occurred over the past weeks.
We have been receiving many calls and emails regarding the current situation here in Noosa and feel fortunate to report that the Sunshine Coast, including our region, which stretches from Coolum Beach to Noosa Heads and north to Cooloola, has been spared the full force of the flooding. We remain open for business with all access roads and Noosa's main beach open - as always, visitors should check daily beach conditions and swim between the red and yellow flags.
If you are planning a holiday, or are sending people here to visit us, rest assured that Noosa is delivering the same wonderful holiday experience that it is known for across Australia and around the world. We have some very happy holidaymakers in town at the moment - see below for some shots taken around midday in Noosa earlier this week (Tuesday 18 January).
While the impacts of the flood in other areas continue to reveal themselves each day, the effort and expense of the clean up process will test all available resources.
The Queensland Government has launched an appeal to help Queenslanders affected by the floods.
You can help make a difference by donating to the Premier's Flood Relief Appeal.

At the moment we cannot operate our ferry as most of the jetties are under water. Noosa at the moment is very lucky compared to the rest of the state in that it looks like any flooding that we experience will be mild compared to the rest of the state.
Hopefully we will be able to resume operations in a few days once the river has settled down.
The river looks very calm it is just that we do not have any where to land.
Below are some photos of some of the jetties just before high tide on Tuesday 11/01/2011

Miss Tewantin, one of our ferries is coming out of the water (Monday 21 June) for a new engine, exhaust system and cooling system. This means she will be out of the water for approximately two weeks. In this time we will not be able to offer sunset cruises.
